Mark Grover

Managing Director

Mark has over 20 years investigation experience and is recognised as an industry leader. Mark has previously served as Vice President of the Victorian Division of the Institute of Mercantile Agents (IMA) and as past President of the World Investigators Network (WIN).

Mark’s corporate and charity work extends to being a Board Member of the Variety Club – Tent 77, as well as the Victoria Police Blue Ribbon Foundation.

You will often get a glimpse of Mark either on Current affair television programs, or hear his voice on the AM radio discussing issues relating to social media, the latest electronic surveillance devices, or counter intelligence.

Mark is a true leader amongst his staff and well respected within the investigation industry.


Anna Mealyea

Factual Investigation Manager

Anna has been licensed and working in the Investigation industry since 2001. Prior to commencing with MPOL in 2007 she worked for various investigation companies, honing her skills in Workers’ compensation, general insurance, asbestos, trademark, TAC, CTP and discipline and misconduct investigations.

Anna also spent time contracted to the Compliance Branch of the VWA and has an active interest in mentoring and developing the careers of new investigators entering the industry from various backgrounds.

Anna is currently employed as the Factual Investigation Manager overseeing investigations for VWA agents and a number of high profile self insured clients.


Hayden Lace

Document Service Manager

Hayden joined MPOL Group in 2005 initially as a Process Server and then as the co-ordinator, responsible for the service of documents for a large number of legal firms.

Now as Document Service Manager Hayden ensures that not only are documents served and affidavits obtained as requested by our clients, but he also maintains contact and briefs clients throughout the process.

Hayden has completed and successfully obtained his Certificate III in Investigative services, through the Australian Security Academy.


Monika Smith

Legal Counsel – Investigations

Monika is a certified practicing solicitor who has previously worked as a litigator for Slater and Gordon and for WorkSafe panel firms Mills Oakley and Wisewoulds.

Monika’s current role at MPOL sees her incorporating her expertise in insurance matters in each of our common law investigation reports, to ensure each report addresses critical legal issues and the legal implications of a claim, as well as ensuring legislation, regulations and Codes of Conduct are complied with.
