MPOL Factual Manager: Anna Mealyea

Anna Mealyea, Factual Investigation ManagerMPOL Group is delighted to announce that we have further strengthened our Factual Department with the appointment of Anna Mealyea as Factual Investigation Manager. Anna joined MPOL in November 2007 and has a wealth of experience in training, managing and conducting investigations. 

Before becoming an investigator in 2001, Anna's experience included a double Degree in Police Studies and Sociology at Monash University and 7 years as a Local Law Enforcement Officer with a Glen Eira City Council. 

Since 2001, Anna has gained enormous experience as an investigator, working on investigations including, WorkCover, Asbestos and dust-related diseases, Public Liability,  Grievance, TAC, Discipline & Misconduct, Income Protection, loss assessing and more. In 2006, Anna completed a 6 month contract with the VWA as an Investigation Officer in the Compliance Branch. 

Anna has also undertaken management responsibilities with a number of Victorian firms and, since 2006, has been a lecturer training new investigators completing their Certificate III in Investigative Services at ISTA, Victoria's largest provider of investigator training courses.  

Anna currently reviews all factual instructions, liaises with our clients and writes our detailed instructions for the investigator. Anna and Monika Henke, Legal Counsel Investigations, together write and conduct MPOL's regular investigator training sessions.
